Jefferson City Art Club is proud to present the 2016 Adult Fine Art Exhibit

JEFFERSON CITY, MO (March 12, 2016)—The Jefferson City Art Club is proud to announce the 2016 Adult Fine Art Exhibit which will be held at the Capital Arts Gallery from March 25th through May 1.  The artist reception will take place during the Art Around Town Gallery Crawl on April 8th from 4:30pm to 8:30pm.
 
The Art Around Town Gallery Crawl has six participating venues: Capital Arts Gallery, Elizabeth Rozier Gallery, The Art Bazaar, The Missouri River Regional Library (2nd floor), Miller Performing Arts Center, and The Village Art Studio. This year, the Jefferson City Art Club is celebrating 112 years of Art. The club was started in 1903 by Miss Ada Oldham. The Jefferson City Art Club meets from September through May on the 3rd Monday of the month. The meetings start at 5:30pm social hour. Jennifer Pharr Davis comes to Jefferson City

On September 12th at the Missouri River Regional Library at 7pm in the art gallery Jennifer Pharr Davis will be speaking about the lessons she learned while on the trail.  Jennifer will show slides of the long distance hike, 12,000 miles, which she took on six continents.  She will be taking questions from the floor about her journey.  After that part is finished she will autograph a copy of her book "Called Again: A Story of Love and Triumph".  Jennifer was also rewarded with the 2012 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year.
