Arts Rolla: Spring brings Eternal Volunteers

Cathy Smith, Rolla Public Library Director, has announced the summer reading program.  Which also means she is in need of volunteers.  These volunteers will help her in Puppetry for Children and Art for Children.  To find out more please contact the Library at:

Events: 

1. Annual Children's Open Art Exhibit:  We will be accepting the art work on Tuesday  March 26, 2013,  from  4-6pm.

2. Volunteer help with face painting: March 30, 2013,  the Saturday before Easter

We need at least 8 volunteers,   4 to do the face painting and 4 to help with the crafts.  A couple to help set up, before hand.  I will have all the supplies over at the Centre on Friday evening, but we cannot set up then. 

3.  Fine Arts Day:  Friday April 12, 2013

High School students will have various exhibits on display, along with middle school children coming in for hands on art.  We assist Kent Jewelry and the High School Art teachers on this day.  There is a silent auction, where the  student designed pieces are auctioned off, Proceeds go to The United Way.
