Artist wanted for the Onondaga State Park Green Living and Art Fair

This year we have decided to combine two events into one. Our Green Living Fair and our Recycled Art in the Park will encompass exhibits on recycling, solid waste management, organic/sustainable farming, natural renewable fibers (fabric, natural dyes, weaving, etc.), alternative energy companies (solar panel vendors, wind power vendors, passive solar vendors, etc.), alternative/green housing (straw bale construction, earth contact, cord wood construction, etc.), solar cooking exhibits, traditional arts and crafts, hybrid and electric cars and more. Combining recycled art with this event just seemed like the right fit. And, we have tent space available at the green living fair that can be used for our artists.

We would really like to get a large group of vendors and artists for this event. The last fair event had 30+ vendors here educating our guests about sustainability and green living. We also had a large crowd (about 2000) that attended. This is a good opportunity for artists like you to set up and sell your work. We do plan to heavily advertise this event. Please be sure to forward this information to friends or relatives that you feel might fit the mold of recycled art. Any artist that uses natural, recycled or reclaimed materials in their work or nature as their theme are invited to attend. This can really encompass a lot. All media are welcome.

PLEASE help us get this to as many people of interest as possible.

Booth fees are small and will be waived if the artist has demonstrations at their booth.  We are looking for "green art" especially.  All types of art will be considered.

We look forward to your participation in our event this year.
