Art updates for May June in Central Missouri

SEDALIA, MO-Jefferson City artist Janis Burgin will be the artist in residence at this years Missouri state fair.  She will be demonstrating glass fusing jewelery as well as live painting.  She will be at the fair Monday, August 11 through Friday, August 15.
Janis is a teacher of art.  She offers classes in Fulton, Jefferson City, Columbia, and Marshall.  She also offers classes in her own studio.  Check her website for more details.
The Missouri state fair runs Thursday, August 7th through Sunday, August 17th. The fair hours are 7:30 am to 10:00 pm daily.  To find out more information please go the following links.

Art After Hours with Andrea Cleeton
JEFFERSON CITY-The Art Bazaar of Jefferson City is proud to present "Art after Hours".  It is held on the last Wednesday of each month.  On May 28th, artist Andrea Cleeton will demonstrate glass fusing.  She has been using this technique for ten years, but she has recently begun experimenting with glass powders and paints.

Summer Fair in the Village Square
JEFFERSON CITY, MO (June 14, 2014)-The Art Bazaar and the Village Art Studio are proud to announce the Summer Fair.  It will be held in the historic Warwick Village in Jefferson City.  It will run Saturday, June 14th, from 11am to 8pm rain or shine.
The event will offer family oriented  entertainment and activities for all ages.  Dance studios will perform and two local bands are scheduled to play through the day.  There will be artist on hand to display, exhibit, and demonstrate their craft.
