Art Dolls/Puppets
W/April Karlovit
Wednesday, June 18th, 5:30-7:30
Experience an evening of whimsy and wonder with master puppeteer, painter, sculptor, and story-teller, April Karlovit. This is one Art Uncork'd you don't want to miss.
Students will learn how to make an art/story doll or puppet from start to finish, creating an original figurative sculpture from scratch using the rigid wrap gauze technique and finishing a prepared form using painting and embellishment.
Just $25 ($20 for CAL members) includes wine, appetizers, and all the materials you will need to create a fanciful character of your very own.
