As a anarchist and an artist it makes my soul feel so fucking good when a work of mine causes people get angry or disgusted. This past weekend I entered this piece, "Let the bird Sing (in honor of the poetry and courage of Maya Angelou) in the Boone County Art Show sponsored by Central Bank. It was hung in the far back almost out of sight, and for those whom did see it, they commented to me how awful it was and how evil I was as to depict the American foundation of Slavery.
I placed Maya in Hell in a Cage ABOVE a crucified Jesus Christ while she sent birds to carry the original slaves from the White Lion back to Africa. I also hanged the American Bald Eagle on a lone branch with the all watchful eye.
I feel amazing. To anger the sheep is my greatest achievement.
