Jefferson
City, MO—The exhibit is sponsored by the Jefferson City art club, Capital Arts
Gallery, and Jefferson City Parks and recreation department.
The
annual event is scheduled for April 20 through June 6, 2013 at the Capital Arts
Gallery located at 1203 Missouri Boulevard.
The reception is on Friday, May 3rd from 4:30 pm to
8:30pm. This reception will participate
in the city wide Art Exposed Gallery Crawl.
This crawl will have 8 locations for viewers to see local artisans and
their work.
Artisans
interested in participating in the show must live within 100 miles of Cole
County Missouri. This is an Adult Artist
show so no High school students or younger will be allowed to show work. Pre-registration is required. Please contact www.capitalarts.org for all the
information. All artwork must be hand
delivered by April 18 between 12:00 and 6:00pm.
There
are both Professional and Amateur categories you can enter and there are also 7
separate categories of medium in which to enter. They are; Acrylic, Oil, Pastel/Chalk/Colored
Pencil, Sculpture 3D, Charcoal/Graphite, Watercolor/Gouache, Artist choice—Egg
Tempera, Monoprint, or Mixed Media.
The
fee to enter is $7 for members of Jefferson City art club and $8 for
non-members.
