Another great gift of art happening in central missouri. This Saturday, March 9th, 2-3pm at the CAL Gallery.
The first in a new series of talks by artists. Up first, Kerry Hirth, a pastel artist known for her abstract paintings of music, will discuss how combining normally unrelated experiences such as music and color can give us a unique perspective that helps us choose the best subjects for our artwork. She will explore how working with an abstract subject such as music can affect what we look for when we evaluate our own work and understand the work of others. Artists of all kinds are welcome, including writers, musicians, chefs, gardeners, mechanical geniuses, and anyone who is dedicated to appreciating them! Free for CAL Members.
Please RSVP for this event by Tuesday, March 5th.
