Art angers the red hat nation

As a anarchist and an artist it makes my soul feel so fucking good when a work of mine causes people get angry or disgusted. This past weekend I entered this piece, "Let the bird Sing (in honor of the poetry and courage of Maya Angelou) in the Boone County Art Show sponsored by Central Bank. It was hung in the far back almost out of sight, and for those whom did see it, they commented to me how awful it was and how evil I was as to depict the American foundation of Slavery.
I placed Maya in Hell in a Cage ABOVE a crucified Jesus Christ while she sent birds to carry the original slaves from the White Lion back to Africa. I also hanged the American Bald Eagle on a lone branch with the all watchful eye.
I feel amazing. To anger the sheep is my greatest achievement.

Artist Steven Wilson and the expressionism of the Navajo woman

On my last trip to New Mexico I took the back way.  In the fall there are many festivals and on this occasion I came across a group of Navajo women cleaning up the grounds.  I was North of Gallup.  She was standing alone and looking out onto the empty fields.  I don't know why, but I pulled over and took a quick sketch.

The title is Lewranti.  It is 36 x 24 on canvas.  The materials used are ceramic stucco, resin sand, acrylic, and white flake.

Artist Steven Wilson and the symbolism of his new work "If I defend thee...

Here is a symbolist work entitled "If I defend thee, then battle shall be my breast, and war shall be thy womb".  The materials used are ceramic stucco, white flake, and acrylic.  It is a statement about war is peace or perpetual war.  As we complain about a society that is too violent; we appear to be somewhat blind as to where such a lesson could've been taught.

It is 40" x 30" on canvas.  I prefer to call it symbolism rather than expressionism.  It is up to the viewer.

Native American Yaqui Maaso painting by Steven Wilson

This is an older piece based on a Yaqui Maaso dancer.  In my trips outwest I have witnessed a few ceremonies, but this piece is taken from photos of a deer ceremony.

Title:  Flower clouds, Flower suns, and the Flower paradigms that hunt them
Size: 60" x 48"
Materials:Acrylic and Ceramic stucco/silica sand on canvas

I used the sand as a reference to another tribe of Native American Indians: Navajo.

"Automatic Black" by Steven Wilson

This is an assessment using Rorschach texturalism and different forms of expressionism.  I utilize both color and the texture to achieve the desired effects.  It is an assessment of Life and Death.  It is the means of us comprehending our brevity, but focusing all of our efforts on becoming immortal through other means outside of our life.

I play on the concept found in our psychosis as the landscape is ourselves.  The natural become unnatural through appetites and want.

Tis the season, but not for art.

I am gradually moving toward public service and have run for office in the past.  But this posting is more about people getting involved that are outside of the political machine.  I mention them because I want them known, but I cannot force anyone to care.  I want you to care, but I cannot make you.

I list their respective websites in the hope you might search them out and discover servitude.

I know most people are sickened by politics.  I cannot blame you, but there are a few citizens that want to serve all people, not just the party and not just the machine.

We serve because we want to create.  The season of humanism has begun and may it never go silent again.
