Autumn On The
Bricks
Fulton’s
Historic Brick District will experience its
annual celebration of Autumn on the
Bricks on Saturday, October 10,
sponsored by the Art House and Brick District.
The festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 5
p.m.
Autumn on the Bricks is a regional
art and food festival celebrating the bounty of
the Missouri River Bluffs Region with live
music, art, artisanal food, expanded farmers’
market, local wine, craft beers, cooking and art
demonstrations, as well as a cooking competition
open to the public. All food on the menu will be
from local producers, focusing on specialty crop
producers and artists from the River Bluffs
Region. Court and 5th Streets will be closed to
traffic and filled with artists' booths,
artisanal food and specialty crop
vendors/producers, demonstrations and plein air
artists painting, as well a wide variety of
regional foods and beverages to discover.
This year we are pleased to welcome Best of
Missouri Hands artists to the festival and
welcome the support of Missouri River
Communities Network, the Missouri River Bluffs
Association and the Fulton Farmers
Market.

Adam
Dresden
Adam focused on studio art
during his college career, and received
an Art
Education degree from William Woods University
in 2009. Discovering a passion for
the arts at a later stage in life, Adam decided
to focus primarily on drawing and painting,
particularly with the figure.
Adam attended Southern
Illinois University in Edwardsville and received
a Masters in Education with an emphasis in
Art.
He
feels that some of the most challenging elements
in the world of art are to capture a person’s
true being or essence, thus making the figure a
very challenging and rewarding test.
He currently teaches art
at the high school level, but within the near
future plans to be working and creating in the
comic book industry. For more information
visit his
website: www.adamdresden.com
Join Adam on Monday,

Michele
Wells
Michele,
a St. Louis-based artist and gallery owner, has
always connected nature with emotion. A deep
love and talent for art lead her to receive an
art degree from Langara College in Vancouver,
British Columbia, but life sent her in other
directions – as a horse trainer, nationally
renowned competitive dancer, and finally as a
professional electrician. In 1999, she revisited
the art of her youth, finding in pastel painting
an outlet to express her feelings and to capture
those of others. Over the years, painting has
become Michele's career and focus. Some of
Michele's accomplishments this year are: first
place winner at the Callaway Plein Air event
2015, Augusta Plein air Peoples Choice winner,
Best of Show Gateway Pastel Artists membership
show. She enjoys sharing her talent and
techniques with her
students.
